Surfboard stuck in the sand kind of place - exactly what you think of when you think of the beach. Better yet, the food is great and the service is even better. Get the UFO with carnitas. "This has been a long time favorite of the family. The flavors are always on point. They're no place inside to sit, it's just outside seating which makes tough weather days difficult to enjoy. The outside seating area is guess it a little tough for them to keep up with and is sometimes a little dirty but not offensively so. Today i was a little disappointed with my UFO. Whoever prepared it did not drain things well and it was a wet mess. I felt bad using so many napkins just to eat it. They lost all their profit on me using napkins."

"I don’t know how else to tell you that my whole family loved the food here so much that we ate here three times over a 6-day vacation. Super fresh and tasty! I had the UFOs prepared both ways and Birria tacos. My picky eater child devastated 8 of the cart tacos in one sitting. Highly recommended, and a must visit for us next time we’re in town!"

"A1A Burrito was absolutely amazing. The food blew us away, and I loved that they have so many vegetarian options. I went with the tempeh burrito and fries — the burrito was massive, seriously as thick as my forearm, and packed with flavor. The fries were phenomenal too, perfectly cooked and seasoned. I couldn’t even finish the burrito, but I honestly wish we were staying longer because I’d come back here five more times without hesitation. If you’re anywhere near St. Augustine Beach, this spot is a must-try. Outdoor seating only."

Parking is very limited, literally just two spots, one of which is handicap. They do have a very clean outdoor seating area. We ordered our food to go, and when I tell you the sandwiches were super filling, that’s no joke, both my husband and I couldn’t even finish ours. Totally worth every penny."

"If you are looking for an out of this world Mexican experience you need to stop into A1A Burrito Works right off the beach on the scenic A1A! Whether you are coming from a long day at the beach or swinging through to pick up some dinner to go back to your beach condo make sure to check out the UFOs! We got a couple different proteins and none of them disappointed. The Birria steak UFO was perfectly roasted Birria. The surprise favorite was the Green Chile Pork which wasn't a luxury protein but sure tasted like one! This is a must try if you are in the St Augustine Beach area. All of the seating is outdoors so depending on the weather this may be great or extremely hot so be warned. It is right off A1A so it can get clouds sometimes and they normally have live music around the back so if you have sensory issues you want to take the noise cancelling airports with you."

"This is truly the premier taco destination in St. Augustine. I’ve experienced some incredibly authentic tacos that rival the best anywhere and this has made the list. I’m eager to explore more of the menu, but I can personally vouch for the exceptional Birria Shredded Beef Street tacos and the Mahi Mahi, both of which were outstanding. The exterior ambiance is fantastic, providing a vibrant atmosphere, although parking is somewhat limited for a smaller stand. The menu is impressive, making it difficult to choose just one dish (and they even offer a spice level ranging from 1 to 10!). Additionally, they serve top-quality cerveza and beer. Everything is fresh, authentic, and embodies the quintessential beach vibe. The staff is remarkable, and the outdoor seating is ideal, featuring high tables, shaded tables with umbrellas, and ample space. This place is a unique gem that never disappoints. "If you are looking for delicious tacos/burritos with a laid back outdoor vibe then this is the spot! The food is fantastic. Decent service and selection of drinks + beer. But be prepared, this is a cantina style outdoor seating only. Kids loved it."
